The Institution of Engineers, Singapore (IES) awarded certificates to 26 students from Nanyang Technological University's Bachelor of Environmental Engineering who have completed the resident engineer bridging programme.
The new qualification provides the graduates with flexibility to join the built industry as REs, according to IES. The students had to complete Structural Design II, Civil Engineering Construction Technology and Geotechnical Engineering courses to graduate from the bridging programme.

Their unwavering commitment to their roles and outstanding performance establish the strong foundation that will move Singapores construction industry towards higher safety standards and greater quality," said Er.
