Littelfuse Inc. has introduced the 467 series of SlimLine Fast-Acting SMD fuses, which features lead-free fusing element and terminations, enabling it to comply with worldwide lead-free electronics initiatives including Europe's Restriction of the use of Certain Hazardous Substances in Electronic and Electronic Equipment, (RoHS) and the Japanese Electronics Industry Development Association lead-free product roadmap.

Available in an EIA 0603 cases with a 0.305mm profile, the fuses provide overcurrent protection and can withstand up to 260C ambient temperatures used in lead-free soldering operations. Terminations are composed of cooper, nickel, and tin.

The company said that the new SMD fuses feature similar electrical performance to the company's 431 and 434 series of fuses, and offer inrush withstand characteristics better than ceramic or glass-based chip fuses.
