A10 series automotive relays from CIT Relay & Switch

CIT Relay & Switch offers the automotive A10 series relays in spst N.O. and spdt configurations in both single and dual styles. The single-relay version measures 12-by-12.9-by-9.9mm, while the dual-relay style is slightly larger at 23.8-by-12.9-by-9.9mm. The devices weigh 4g and 8g, respectively.

The A10 series withstands high temperatures with an operating temperature of -40C to 105C. Both styles offer PCB pin mounting and contact ratings up to 30A at 14Vdc. The devices feature a contact resistance of <30 milliohms initially, a maximum switching power of 420W with a maximum switching voltage of 28Vdc and maximum switching current of 40A on/30A off. The RoHS Pb-free (no cadmium) contacts are AgSnO2.

The A10 series offers a typical electrical life at rated load of 100,000 cycles, and a mechanical life of 10 million cycles. Insulation resistance is 100 megaohms at 500Vdc. The dielectric strength of the coil to contact is 500Vrms minimum at sea level and contact to contact is 500Vrms.

The A10 series relay applications include automotive and lamp accessories. Volume pricing for the A10 series ranges from 48 cents, depending on coil, contact configuration and volume. Delivery is from stock to 10 weeks.
