Samtec Inc. has introduced power and high-density AccliMate IP68 sealed circular cable plugs and receptacle systems. These include the SCP1/SCR1 and SCP2/SCR2 series cable plugs and receptacles.

The SCP1/SCR1 series cable plugs and receptacles are double-ended and are manufactured with 22 AWG cable with a choice of size 10 shells with 4 power pins or size 17 shells with 16 power pins. The panel receptacle terminates to the board with a 6.35mm (0.125-inches) pitch isolated power connector (IPBD series)

The high-density SCP2/SCR2 series cable plugs and receptacles are also double-ended and manufactured with 24 AWG cable with a choice of size 10 shells with 10 rugged Tiger Eye contacts or size 17 shells with 32 Tiger Eye contacts. The panel receptacle terminates to the board with a 2.54mm (0.100-inches) pitch isolated power connector (IPD1 series).

Both the AccliMate power and high-density systems are RoHS compliant, and dust caps are available for both shell sizes. They also include Ethernet, USB and RF systems.

Pricing for the devices start at $8 per 2m completed assembly depending on style and number of pins.
