Schurter has improved its TA35 circuit breaker with new features including an extended operating temperature range from -30C to +60C and a longer shelf life of up to 50,000 switching cycles under load.

Other features include a narrower trip characteristic bandwidth for rated currents 3A, and an enhanced conditional short circuit of 2,000A.

The series also has a "dead man switch" and an optional cover that gives a protection class of IP65. Aesthetic features include a stylish rocker switch now offered in five bright illuminated colors for a total of 10 colors. A selection of standard and customer specific legends is available as alternatives.

The TA35 has efficient snap-in mounting to fit panel thickness ranging from 1mm to 4mm with 6.3mm x 0.8mm quick connect terminals. It integrates switching and thermal overload protection over a current range of 0.05A to 20A for one- and two-pole types, and 0.05A to12A for the three-pole version. The devices are Visual Device Emulator, cURus and Customs Cooperative Council approved.
