This application note describes how to simplify the original boosted antenna designed to extend the operating range of the CRX14 Contactless Coupler Chip used to read RFID tags. Applying the design changes presented in this application note will enable you to achieve almost the same results as the original design, but with the use of less components simply by modifying the pre-demodulation circuit.
