TDKs for analog-intensive BCDMOS chip development

Mentor Graphics Corp. has announced a series of Technology Design Kits (TDKs) that support analog-intensive BCDMOS process technologies from Dongbu HiTek, a specialized foundry based in South Korea. These TDKs jointly released streamline BCDMOS chip design at the 0.35/0.18?m node, with additional TDKs available in 2012.

The Mentor Graphics IC Station, a custom IC design flow solution, seamlessly accelerates the foundry customer's BCDMOS chip designs from system specifications to post-layout verifications. It includes applications for design capture, floor planning, polygon editing, physical layout, schematic-driven layout, and chip assembly. When used with these applications, the jointly developed TDKs allow fabless companies to jump-start design cycles and shorten time-to-market.

The TDKs consist of all foundry-specific devices and models for use with the Mentor IC design tools, which are easily configured and offer an affordable option for physical design engineers. Such option promises higher productivity as well as an immediate way to automate the physical layout of analog designs.
