Clavister has launched a new portfolio of security products and solutions in Malaysia aimed at cloud service providers, enterprises and telecom operators. These security solutions address a business environment marked by greater risks to corporate networks. Applications such as social networking sites and games expose companies to malware and data loss. These threats demand evolved security gateways that can help control the usage of applications that legacy firewalls cannotcontrol.

The new portfolio consists of the following products that provide security for a range of customer requirements:

? Clavister Virtual SeriesDesigned for virtual and cloud environments

? Clavister Eagle SeriesProducts for remote and branch offices

? Clavister Lynx SeriesIndustrial and ruggedized products

? Clavister Wolf SeriesProducts for enterprise and data centers

? Clavister PolarBear SeriesTelecom and carrier grade products

Clavister's new security solutions were launched in tandem with an improved operating system called Clavister cOS that features a more user-friendly interface. Clavister cOS has been released in two versions: cOS Core and cOS Stream, which replace Clavister CorePlus and SlipStream.

Clavister cOS Core also introduces Application Control that will identify and control more than 1,000 applications such as Facebook, YouTube and Skype; and business applications such as Oracle Financials or Microsoft Navision. The Clavister cOS Stream, meanwhile, is designed for telecom operators and optimize Mobile Data Offloading and Mobile PBN.
