After landing on the moon five decades ago, NASA plans another mission in outer space by sending humans to an asteroid by 2025. In order to succeed, the mission will require a combination of current capabilities and yet-to-be-developed technologies, which the space agancy is now seeking as part of a broad agency announcement.
This is an exciting time for engineers and inventors as they prepare for this mission.
