Job Description
- Requires a self-driven, motivated, and experienced Test Engineer to join a dedicated team focused on developing ATE test and characterisation programs for the semiconductor industry.
- Responsibilities include all aspects of ATE test development for mixed-signal semiconductor for the communication IC industry.
- Individual will team with design and product engineering to assess testability, document test plans, and develop and implement test strategies.
- Work will include hardware design (DIB/PIB) relating to wafer probe and ATE DUT boards,
- Develop and implement characterisation and production test programs,
- Work with design team to correlate tester and
- Perform bench measurements, and supporting production activities on assigned projects.
- Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent in Applied Science is required, MSEE preferred
- Minimum 6+ years of ATE test development experience with high-speed mixed signal testers (Teradyne UFLEX , Verigy Pinscale system)
- Good knowledge and experience with high volume IC manufacturing test techniques and requirements (scan, iddq, jtag, logic and memory bist)
- Strong mixed signal test development experience with preference for work involving high speed interfaces like SERDES, XAUI, GPHY, 10Gig PHY, USB, PCIE, and SATA
- Strong and comprehensive knowledge of silicon integrated circuits and signal analysis or equivalent work experience.
- Strong programming background (C++, VB, VBA, Perl)
- Good work experience with digital and analogue parametric characterization.
- Demonstrated ability or experience to mentor and train other technical team members, and build up test development team.
- Must be a self-driven and analytical individual with good communication skills who can work well with other team players, possessing a thorough command of the English language.
- Strong project planning and organisational skills is needed to manage fast paced project goals and schedules in a competitive environment.
