The fluctuating currency market is affecting more than fiscal results of top tech companies; it is also skewing competitiveness and preoccupying corporate boards as top management confronts one more issue over which it has limited control.

This is just a wake up call, to many, that understand how exporting inflation can wreck a company's bottom line. With the increasing social unrest, due to de-stabilized currencies, governments will eventually de couple from the U.S. dollar. Unfortunately, the little people will bear the brunt of this as the cost of ALL goods will rise. Only the shrewd and creative will weather this transformation.

I think a good side that comes from this is that international firms consider options to outsource operations into other regions (Asia) like Infineon.
