In an age when we should be looking for ways to reduce power consumption, and solutions are still not managed for the mounting problem of used consumer electronic waste disposal, this is not the time to push this.

Once the initial?"new glow" of appeal for these things has worn off, people will realize that they have allowed another grotesque bastard child of the corporate technology and marketing?machine into their homes, complete with wall-wart.
