National Semiconductor introduces a pair of 200V mono audio power amplifier input stages, which the company claims reduce design time and enable amplifier designs with a THD+N as low as 0.00035 percent.

its most appropriate if amplifier is RC couple to the output and differential at input.it should be complimentary output. It will assist reduced risks of shot circuiting output when carelessly handled or the equipment accidentally malfunction especially at output which can damage output driver or end user.

i second the implimentation of 200V audio power amp coz with its output in public address, it can meet meet the reqiured amplitute to end users before riching its maximum output that creates distortion. also the power losses through transformers can be minimised since the circiut can be rectified directly and stabilised, hence the cost of design and implimentation is low.
