You forgot one - their written language. To learn the Chinese written language you have to be learning by heart during many years, while in the west we are taught to analyze problems and find their solutions ;-) Learning by heart is their way of life (an English student told me, that in university they had to learn the poems of Shakespeare by heart :-) But leading the world can not be learnt by heart. (The same way as flying an airplane can not be learnt by heart and for this reason, they have to import these many pilots). I think this is also the reason they have so few able engineers or programmers. Wanting to dominate everything by learning by heart is their principal limitation and it will take generations of western schooled Chinese to overcome it.
