Intel has teamed up with the Technical Vocational Schools and Association of the Philippines (Tevsaphil) for a digital literacy campaign in the country dubbed 'Intel Easy Steps.'

Based on their data, 374 million people in the world still have no access to technology. Intel has committed $100 million in investments to improve education in 100 countries including the Philippines every year.

A 10 per cent increase in technology penetration adds 1.3 per cent in GDP in high income countries while in low to middle income countries, it adds 1.2 per cent, said Intel Philippines Corporate affairs manager Yvonne Garcia Flores.
