In this position, you will be spending more than 70% of your time in the first three to six months training on substrate design concepts and electrical analysis concepts. You will be trained on Intel's typical package electrical design process, electrical analysis software and documentation. After the training, you will be involved in performing hands-on training under a qualified electrical design engineer. Upon completion of training course you will be taking a project in package design electrical analysis work.
You should possess a Bachelor's degree and/or a Master's degree and/or a Ph.D. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering with a CGPA of 3.5 above or equivalent. Additional qualifications include:
- Sound knowledge of electrical field theories and electronic fundamentals.
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills.
- Familiarity in electrical packaging and characterization would be an added advantage.
-Exposure to board or package CAD layout software such as Mentor Graphics or Cadence Allegro.
- Exposure in using electrical design analysis tools such as Ansoft or HSpice would be an added advantage.
