Utilise competency and talents in high speed I/O design & protocols (such as SATA, PCIe) to design, implement and verify IPs that will be used by Intel's foundry external customers . This includes understanding architecture specifications, RTL implementation, block level verification, executing integration flows, leading debug activities as well as timing convergence, ECO implementation and associated ASIC tasks.
Collaborate in a versatile, agile & dynamic team towards delivering the IP design that is implemented in both a HDL language as well as a synthesized netlist form. You will leverage upon your experience, skills and innate abilities to complete the various design flows required to achieve this, including functional verification, synthesis, formal verification as well as static timing analysis.
Grow into the technical expert and collaborate closely in delivering a Best in Class IP that is area & power optimized on challenging schedules. You will be given the challenge of producing reusable designs that meets performance as well as low power requirements on the latest 14nm and the upcoming 10nm process technology that are 2-3 generations ahead of the industry. This will require you to work closely with all functions including digital, analog, physical design experts towards this common goal.
Support internal and potentially external customers in integrating the IP that has differing requirements and usage models. You will have an opportunity to collaborate with geo-diverse teams in analyzing, debugging and identifying the root cause of issues that arise from complex design development in both a pre-silicon & post silicon aspect. We look forward to your innovative recommendations that will resolve the identified issue that accounts for technical and project constraints/requirements. This will include a time based plan of action.
Continuously learn, master and improve the current design, integration as well as validation activities that forms the ASIC flow via automation, scripting, fresh ideas and unconventional thinking.
Guide and develop team members in expanding their technical breath & depth by leveraging on your expertise & experience. This is done via active participation in design reviews, knowledge sharing and informal discussions and brainstorming sessions.
