The EPC-2324 high-performance PCI/ISA system controller is targeted at OEMs developing enterprise-class communications products. Based on the Intel Pentium III processor, the multipurpose single-board computer (SBC) is suitable for applications that require high-performance embedded controllers such as unified messaging systems, automatic call distribution equipment, network and encryption processing systems.

The controller can also be configured for high-end applications with dual CPUs and up to 2GB of memory for very high throughput and multiprocessing capabilities. Alternately, it can be configured with reduced functionalitywith single CPU and less memoryfor midrange solutions that can be easily upgraded in the future.

It offers high processing power combined with large memory capacity, allowing it to execute complex processing tasks simultaneously. It features dual Intel 1GHz Pentium III processors and a Serverworks ServerSet III LE chipset that supports industry-standard SDRAM. It also offers a full set of I/O interfaces, including dual 10/100Base-Tx Ethernet interfaces; ISA bus interface and 64-bit, 66MHz PCI bus interface; dual-channel Ultra2 SCSI; USB, serial and parallel ports; and keyboard and mouse. It also contains an SVGA controller with 4MB VRAM.

The EPC-2324 is covered with a two-year warranty and is quoted, in OEM quantities, at $2,493 for a typical configuration.
