This single-chip UHF transceiver is designed for very low-power and very low-voltage wireless applications. It operates over the 300MHz to 1GHz band at voltages ranging from 2.3V to 3.6V. It draws 7.4mA in receive mode, 5.3mA (min.) in transmit mode, and 0.25A in power-down mode.
It has an internal bit synchronizer, enabling easy implementation of high-speed radio links with a minimum load on the microcontroller. The signal interface can also be configured for a UART serial bus interface, taking advantage of the hardware UART in a microcontroller.
The RF transceiver is housed in a TSSOP28, and delivers an output power programmable to 10dBm. |
