Accelerated Technology Inc. (ATI) has formed a strategic partnership with NetSilicon Inc. for the integration of Nucleus and codelab software into the NET+ARM Ethernet-ready SoC. According to ATI and NetSilicon, they have positioned the codelab, Nucleus and NET+ARM integration to take advantage of the market penetration of ARM in the embedded industry. By taking advantage of ARM's market share, ATI and NetSilicon can now provide developers with a suitable platform for building intelligent, networked devices and Internet appliances.

"Through NetSilicon's work with ATI, our companies can now offer electronic products OEMs an additional device networking platform based on the high-powered NET+ARM microprocessor, which, as a proven solution, has captured significant market share," said William Peisel, CTO of NetSilicon. "As OEMs increasingly build intelligence and connectivity into their products, ATI and NetSilicon are well positioned to provide embedded computing and networking platforms."
