EM Microelectronic reset circuits buck external components

The V6309 and V6319 circuits monitor power supplies in microprocessor and digital systems. These three-pin microprocessor reset circuits eliminate the need for external components when used with 5V or 3V powered circuits.

They assert a reset signal whenever the Vdd supply voltage declines below a preset threshold, and keep it asserted for at least 140ms after Vdd has risen above the reset threshold. The V6309 has an active-low reset output that is guaranteed to be in the correct state for Vdd down to 1V. The V6319 has an active-high reset output.

The devices are suitable for use in computers, controllers, intelligent instruments, critical microprocessor and microcontroller power monitoring, and portable and battery-powered equipment.

Both housed in 3-pin SOT-23 and specified for the -400C to 1250C temperature range, the V6309 and V6319 are quoted starting from 25 cents each in quantities of 20,000.
