The HT95 series of telephone controllers provides design flexibility through their internal RAM/ROM memory, power management feature, a flexible pin shared LCD pin arrangement and dual operating frequency mode.

The telephone controllers are divided into three categoriesthe HT95A I/O device, the HT95L LCD type, and the HT95C caller ID telephone controller.

The HT95A is intended for use in traditional household corded telephones not requiring LCDs, as well as IP dialer boxes and IP phones. For telephone sets that require LCDs, the HT95L LCD is employed. The device is also used for Type 1 and 2 caller ID adjunct boxes, multi-function telephones, and intelligent payphones. The HT96C is primarily used in high-performance FSK caller ID telephone sets and as a PDA stock assistant.

These devices can also be used in conjunction with other communication devices such as small/medium PBXs and intelligent building management systems.
