Littelfuse miniature fuses offer reliable circuit protection

The 461 series miniature, surface-mount fuses that are manufactured with a ceramic body, silver-plated brass caps and tin-lead terminations. Providing reliable overcurrent protection, the fuses meet Bellcore and Telcordia GR-1089-CORE and FCC47 part 68 surge specifications, as well as UL 1459 power-cross requirements. They also withstand up to 2300C reflow soldering heat or 2600C wave soldering temperature.

The devices operate at temperatures ranging from -550C to 1250C. They are rated at 0.5A, 1.25A and 2A at 250V. They also exhibit a nominal resistance of 0.56 ohm at 0.5A, 0.11 ohm at 1.25A and 50 milliohms at 2A.

Measuring 10.1-by-3.12-by-3.12mm, the fuses can easily fit into telecommunications equipment such as modems, fax machines, line cards, handsets, answering machines and caller ID units.
