Magis Networks Inc. has entered into a technical service agreement with Motorola Inc.'s Broadband Communications Sector. The agreement is intended to help accelerate the adoption of Magis' 5GHz wireless technology as part of a broadband-cable home networking standard supporting media and entertainment services.

Under the agreement, Motorola will provide Magis with technical support services, including the alignment of Magis' technology roadmaps and feature set direction, and the enabling of interoperability between Motorola equipment and Magis' Air5-based products. The two companies will participate in co-marketing activities at industry events, as well as advertising and product promotion to customers.

In addition, Motorola has made an investment in Magis to help fund the continued development of its chipsets, which enable wireless communications of TCP/IP data, high-quality video, and audio, throughout the home and office.
