Nam Kong Xenon flash tubes suit high-speed image-processing apps

The company has rolled out a line of Xenon flash tubes that produce high-intensity output, making them suitable for high-speed image-processing applications.

These Xenon flash tubes employ titanium, instead of nickel, for the material inside the electrode. This enables the devices to deliver higher output power and higher operating frequency, as well as an extended operating life.

The product line feature four U-shaped models and one circular version. Nominal voltage is specified at 300V. Minimum trigger voltage is 4kV. The Xenon flash tubes operate up to 1 million hours.

The standard U-shaped models feature lengths ranging from 28mm to 30mm, with a diameter of 2.9mm or 6mm. Circular versions feature a diameter of 66mm.

Pricing is >$1 each for a U-shaped, 6mm(x), 30mm long model.
