The W2H/W3H series miniature ceramic chip components combine capacitor and inductor elements in a single distributed constant circuit filter device. These passive filters are employed to suppress EMI noise in high-speed applications. They are also suitable for broadband I/O filtering and Vcc power line conditioning applications.

The devices feature a unique construction that allows for series interconnect while also yielding very low inductance in high-speed applications. They offer good decoupling capabilities for all high di/dt environments while providing noise reduction in digital circuits up to 5GHz. Other applications include PA decoupling, dc/dc converters, power supervisory circuits, digital-to-RF filtering, telecom, portable electronics and automotive.

Offered in 0805 and 0612 case sizes, the series devices are available in 25V, 50V and 100V ratings with capacitance values ranging from 22pF to 100nF at +50/-20 percent tolerance. They also exhibit dc resistance values <0.15 ohm. Current ratings range from 0.5A to 5A.

Available in NP0 and X7R dielectrics, the filter devices operate at temperatures ranging from -550C to 1250C. They are offered in standard tape-and-reel packages, making them compatible with high-speed automated assembly equipment, and wave and reflow soldering.
