The ADN2843 is a 10.7Gbps laser diode driver with dual-loop control for average power and extinction ratio. It provides consistent optical performance by compensating for temperature variations and aging effects in the laser diode.

The OC-192/SDH-64 device is optimized for use in directly coupled applications such as small-form factor modules.

Operating at 3.3V and modulation and bias current of up to 80mA, the driver also features laser fail and degrade alarms, automatic laser shutdown, and bias and modulation current monitors.
