Japan-based Nippon Systemware Co. Ltd (NSW) has joined ARM's technology access program, ATAP. NSW is expected to provide system logic design services, both to ARM's silicon partners and system companies embedding ARM CPUs in electronic products, in the areas of information technology, intelligent home appliances and car electronics.

According to ARM, the addition of NSW to the ATAP program increases the number of participants in Japan to four, further enhancing ARM design services in Japan. The move also demonstrates the increasing demand of total solution services including hardware and software of ARM core-based SoC designs.
