Enhanced Memory Systems Inc. and Cypress Semiconductor have agreed to develop an expanded family of network communications memory products based on Enhanced Memory's patented one-transistor ESRAM memory technology. The new agreement follows the recent announcement of the 72Mb NoBL (No Bus Latency) burst SRAM family jointly developed by the companies.

"This cooperative work between two technology innovators will help Cypress build on its position in the networking communications memory market," said Mario Martinez, strategic director of Cypress's Memory Products Division. "The memory products our companies are developing will expand our one-transistor SRAM products in the communications market."
