The AGASTAT 48K time delay relays have eight timing modes: on delay, off delay, interval, one shot, repeat, cycle on/off delay, on/interval and accumulating on. Equipped with a rotary switch to set the timing range, the 48K allows time delays from 0.1s up to 10h.

The device features an adjustment knob for fine-tuning of delay time via the unit's internal potentiometer. The 48K has a repeat accuracy rated at 10.5 percent (at 120ms) and an overall accuracy of 11 percent (at 120ms).

The 48K operates over 24Vac to 240Vac, 50Hz/60Hz or 24Vdc to 125Vdc. A DPDT electromechanical relay performs output switching. The unit's relay contacts are rated for up to 10A resistive, at 30Vdc or 120Vac/240Vac. LED indicators display input power to the unit and power output from the relay.

The relay is housed in a 1/16 DIN enclosure that can be mounted in a panel or a socket. Alternate versions of the 48K are available including an 8-pin, four timing mode model, a single function on-delay model and a tamper-resistant model.
