The TEA5767 and TEA5768 single-chip stereo radios are designed specifically to be integrated into portable consumer devices such as mobile phones, MP3 players, portable CD players, toys and promotional giveaways.

The chip radios are completely adjustment free and can tune into European, U.S. and Japanese FM bands.

Classical radio architecture requires external parts to be aligned during production. These parts handle HF signals and need carefully-designed PCBs. The company claims that the TEA5767 and TEA5768 architectures need no alignment, have fewer external parts and offer simpler PCB designs.
