The SignalStorm SoC signal-integrity solution is claimed to have run times four to 20 times faster than other solutions, as well as an an accuracy to within 2 percent of SPICE using the effective current source model. The solution is also claimed to consume 80 percent less system memory.

Targeted for IC designers of 0.13?m and below process technologies, SignalStom provides a unified signal-integrity solution for cell-based design that calculates path delays. The solution accounts for signal-integrity timing effects such as propagation delay and crosstalk effects.

Signal-integrity is hampered by unintended electrical effects, such as capacitance coupling, from thickly-packed wires within the IC.

SignalStorm also incorporates instance-based IR-drop data from the company's VoltageStorm SoC, to account for the effects of IR drop on path delays.

Pricing starts at $50,000.
