The company has released the FM quarter-brick and FD half-brick dc/dc converter modules targeted for the power requirements of telecommunication infrastructure and equipment.

Measuring 37-by-58-by-8.5mm, the FM modules operate over the input voltage range of 36Vdc to 72Vdc at a temperature range of -20C to 85C. They produce an output of up to 3.3Vdc and 49.5W, making them suitable for use in PBX systems, as well as DSPs and FPGAs.

The FD series measure 57.9-by-61-by-12.7mm and also operate from 36Vdc to 72Vdc over the temperature range of -20C to 100C. They produce an output of up to 28Vdc and 210W, and are used in radio and cable communications equipment.

Both series feature overvoltage and overcurrent protection, as well as overheat protection, remote sensing and remote on/off. The FM and FD modules operate at a minimum efficiency rating of 84 percent.
