Taiwan raw speaker maker eyes presence in mainland

Taiwan raw speaker manufacturer Danity Electric Ind. Co. Ltd will establish an offshore plant in mainland China in June. Monthly capacity is expected to reach 400,000 of low-end raw-speakers.

According to Alex Lu, business manager, the company's new products include waterproof car speaker sets designed for use in automobiles, 6.5-inch high-power speakers for use in audio systems, and 8-inch sub-woofer speakers designed for use in home theaters.

The company's Taiwan plant produces 6.5-inch to 4-inch subwoofer raw speakers designed for use in automobiles. The monthly capacity is 100,000 units.
