Reputedly the first in mainland China to produce PMMA panels, Meiyan has an annual capacity of 12.65 million units. During the first phase of the PMMA project, Meiyan invested over Rmb100 million ($12.1 million) to produce 14.1- and 15-inch PMMA panels with a light penetration rate of over 92 percent.
