Inova 6U SBC integrates Pentium III

The ICP-PIII-6U CompactPCI SBC features a Pentium III processor and a 21554 non-transparent PCI-PCI bridge, and is designed for use in embedded systems, industrial automation, military, medical, robotics, and multiprocessing applications.

Showcased at the Embedded Systems Conference, the SBC is available at processor speeds ranging up to 1GHz and is equipped with 128MB of SDRAM and 2MB of Flash. Memory piggyback modules can provide the ICP-PIII-6U with up to 256MB of SDRAM and up to 512MB of Flash.

The device also has a built-in dual Ethernet interface and FireWire port, as well as standard PC peripherals such as floppy disk, HDD, and CD-ROM. The SBC is PC-compatible and supports DOS, Windows NT/CE/2000, Linux, RTX, OS-9, VxWorks, QNX, Jbed and other RTOS.

The ICP-PIII-6U also uses a Lynx 3D graphics controller for graphic-intensive environments and operates over the temperature range of -40C to 85C.
