Maxrad antennas address 5.8GHz ISM band

The company has added the MP58013XFPT and MFB58008 ISM antennas to its XtremeWave product line, addressing the 5.8GHz frequency of the ISM band.

Designed for indoor and outdoor use, the MP58013XFPT features a gain of 12.5dBi, and a vertical and horizontal 3dB beamwidth of 28 and 42, respectively. The 12.9-by-11.9-by-3.8mm device is manufactured with UL 94V-0 materials, and operate at a temperature range of -40C to 80C, while dissipating 20W.

The MFB58008 fiberglass omnidirectional antenna provides a gain of 8dBi and a 3dB beamwidth of 11, while consuming 25W. Designed for outdoor use, the antenna is claimed to withstand wind speeds of up to 200kph.
