SUSS receives multi-tool order Asian company

SUSS MicroTec AG has received a multi-tool order from Asia's F-Tech. The order consists of several SAW fabrication modules, including a microlithography cluster, metal lift-off tool, production mask aligner and production probe system.

"Taiwan and mainland China are among the most important markets for SUSS in Asia," stated James Hermanowski, manager of the compound semiconductor business unit at SUSS. "F-Tech's order shows that our commitment to our Asian-based customers has instilled confidence in the company and our technological expertise has gained acceptance in the region. The optoelectronics and compound semiconductors markets are gaining more and more importance in this key region, and represents a critically important piece of the target market for compound semiconductor opportunities for SUSS."
