Acqiris digitizer cards offer 1GHz bandwidth

The company's V-Class DC series of digitizer cards for digital oscilloscopes offer a bandwidth of 1GHz with a sampling rate of up to 4GSa/s, and a memory length of up to 32 million points. The modules also provide an accuracy and stability better than ±2ppm, while consuming 40W.

Offered in single (DC211), dual (DC241), and quad (DC271) channels, the cards provide the same functions as the company's first-generation of products, but adds new functions including advanced triggering, acquisition gating, and front-panel I/O.

Data recorded by the digitizers can be transferred directly to a host PC at a sustained data rate of up to 100MBps.

The cards are fabricated using SiGe BiCMOS technology and are packaged in a modular single-slot, 6U CompactPCI format. The modular design allows up to 28 channels to be housed in one box. The cards also feature the company's ASBus system that distributes a common trigger and allows the modules within the same crate to be fully synchronized to one sample clock.
