Designed for Bluetooth and 802.11b applications, the ClearLink 2400 2.4GHz antenna measures 9-by-13-by-2.4mm and weighs <0.25g10 times smaller and 100 times lighter than conventional wireless networking antennas.

"No bigger than a cuff link, the ClearLink 2400 improves performance while making it easier to integrate Bluetooth and 802.11b modules into consumer electronics devicesa manufacturing feat that seemed impossible before today," says Greg Mendolia, EVP of e-tenna.

The device allows Bluetooth and Wi-Fi module manufacturers to design one antenna that works in any device, thereby driving down costs.

Based on the company's RF Mirror artificial magnetic conductor (AMC) technology, the ClearLink 2400 is claimed to better control RF energy and isolate antennas from nearby influences that could degrade performance.
