STMicro offers EEPROM for automotive apps

STMicroelectronics has announced a new version of its M95256 SPI EEPROM that operates at the automotive temperature range of -40°C to 125°C, and features programming time of 5ms, making the device suitable for automotive applications such as telematics and high-end powertrain functions.

The SO-8 device has a clock rate of 10MHz for its 5V version and 5MHz for the 2.5V device. It can be accessed via a fast-speed serial SPI bus.

STMicroelectronics is an exhibitor at the 7th annual International IC ? China Conference and Exhibition (IIC-China), which will be held in Shanghai on April 8 and 9, Beijing on April 11 and 12, and Shenzhen on April 15 and 16. IIC-China is organized by eMedia Asia Ltd, a Global Sources and CMP Media joint venture.
