The CTRLink line of industrial Ethernet media converters from Contemporary Control Systems Inc. perform conversion between copper to fiber media, while appearing as transparent devices and consuming <4W.

The EIMS-10T/F operates 10Mbps and meets the signaling requirements for 10Base-T and 10Base-FL. The EIMC-100T/FT is a 100Mbps device that converts 100Base-Tx twisted-pair signals to 100Base-Fx fiber-optic signals and utilizes ST fiber-optic connectors. Another version, the EIMC-100T/FC uses SC fiber-optic connectors.

Each model is features a miniature enclosure and is DIN-rail mounted. The front panel provides a DIP switch for selecting the full-duplex, half-duplex, or transparent mode of operation. An activity LED is provided that flashes green when data is transferred. A link LED indicates the data rate by colorgreen for 100Mbps and yellow for 10Mbps.

The EIMC-10T/F is quoted at $295 each, while the EIMC-100T/FC and EIMC-100T/FT are both priced at $395 each.
