Sany Optlayer Co.'s four-channel 400GHz DWDM module uses interference filter technology to separate ITU wavelength signals or combine different wavelength signals into an optical fiber. The device meets Bellcore's 1221 and 1209 standards, and is used in long-haul and access networks.

The device also features a maximum insertion loss of 2.2dB, passband flatness of 0.5dB, and a channel uniformity of 0.7dB. Minimum adjacent channel isolation is 25dB, while its minimum non-adjacent channel isolation is 40dB.

The DWDM module has a directivity of 55dB and an optical return loss of 50dB. It produces an optical power of 250mW (max.) and operates between 0C to 65C.
