Pulsus to supply Taekwang with amplifier ICs

Pulsus Technology Co. Ltd has signed a supply agreement with Taekwang Ind. Co. Ltd, where Pulsus will provide Taekwang with the Model PS9702B digital amplifier ICs, which will be integrated into Taekwang's home theater, mini-component system.

According to Pulsus, the PS9702B is a 6-channel, 24-bit, 196kHz digital-to-digital converter that can be used in applications, such as DVD players, audio systems, and other multimedia systems.

O. K. Kwon, the director of sales and business development at Pulsus, said "We successfully have made several supply contracts with local and overseas companies, and they will soon roll out new products integrating the PS9702B chip. A Singapore company and a China company are already on the final stage of developing 5.1-channel digital amplifiers using our DDC chip."
