Radlan Inc. has developed the Radlan OpENSelecT platforms for Marvell's Prestera and GalNet switch architectures, providing OEMs with production-ready chassis designs for high-density enterprise, metropolitan area and IP-based storage networking systems.

The OpENSelecT platforms allow OEMs to deploy chassis, desktop or stackable systems, as well as choose from a selection of Marvell features ranging from Ethernet switching to complex security, billing, routing, and stacking. These platforms also include software, hardware and full production materials, designed to improve OEMs' time-to-market and reducing internal development costs.

The initial Radlan platforms are the 9612 and 6408 production-ready chassis designs, supporting 12 and 8 line cards respectively. Various configurations of the line cards support copper and optical connections using the Marvell Alaska physical layer products with integrated serdes, as well as VDSL. In addition, the 9612 supports dual CPU line cards for fault tolerance.
