DEK, a provider of manufacturing solutions for electronics circuit board assembly and semiconductor industries, has opened a distribution center in Singapore. The move will be followed by facilities in Shanghai and Shenzhen. The company also plans to establish distribution centers in Penang, Malaysia, and Taipei, Taiwan.

According to DEK, customers can benefit from the company's full service program, which includes a next day delivery option, customer collection and personal delivery. Further benefits of the new channels include reduced freight costs for customers and an effective stock control.

Martin Luff, DEK Logistics manager, said, "DEK will also introduce an online ordering process that is password-protected for customers within six months. This will further increase the flexibility of the DEK online ordering process, which already operates on a 24/7 basis."
