C-MAC TCXOs consume 1.5mA

The CFPT-9005/9008 and CFPT-9057/9061 TCXOs from C-MAC MicroTechnology provides a clipped sinewave output, while consuming 1.5mA, making them suitable for use in low-power applications such as mobile communications and GPS devices.

Based on the company's Pluto fourth-order analog temperature compensation ASIC, the TCXOs can also be specified with tight frequency stability and low jitter, allowing them to be used as Stratum 3 level clocks in SDH/SONET systems.

Both devices deliver temperature compensation >10.3ppm from -200C to 700C without introducing granularity, and a close-to-carrier phase noise of -95dBc/Hz (10Hz).

The CFPT9005/9008 is available as a 7-5-2mm surface-mount device, while the CFPT-9057/9061 is shipped in a 14-by-9-6.1mm SOJ-20 package. Both operate from a 2.5V supply and can produce an output of 1.2Vpp with output frequencies ranging from 8MHz to 50MHz.
