Xyron to speed development of Xyronium-based ASICs

Xyron Semiconductor Inc., a provider of microprocessor enhancement technologies, is aiming at expediting the development of ASICs built around its Xyronium microprocessor corea ZOTS enabled 32-bit RISC microprocessor which can be used as the core for an SoC design.

The company will add 40 people to the current 35 employees, focusing on engineering roles such as IC design, systems development, embedded software and customer applications support. Xyron will also extend its office space by 11,000-square-feet to accommodate the additional staff

"The good market acceptance of the Xyron technology has accelerated our development roadmap," remarked John Peers, CEO for Xyron. "This is such an opportune time to find the quality people we need to build our organization," Peers explains.
