Datatronics surface-mount inductor has 4.7mm profile

The DR356-1 series of self-leaded, flat-wire, surface-mount inductors from Datatronics Distribution Inc. has a footprint of 12.6-by-12.6mm and a profile of 4.7mm, and is used in dc/dc converters and switching power supplies. Another version, the DR356-2 has the same footprint as the DR356-1, but has a 5mm profile.

Manufactured with UL 94V-0 materials, the inductor has a flat top design suitable for pick and place manufacturing. It is available in inductance values of 580nH to 2.35H with current ratings of 12A to 22A.

Both models offer a DCR value between 1.45 ohms to 4.3 ohms and operates from -400C to 1050C. They are priced at $1.39 each in minimum quantities of 10,000 pieces.
