The AQ6317C optical spectrum analyzer from Ando Electric Co. Ltd provides a wavelength accuracy of 10.1nm from 600nm to 1,750nm and a wavelength resolution of 15ppm, making the device suitable for use in measuring complex optical communications networks.

The 425-by-222-by-450mm device is also claimed to be two times faster than previous models and features additional functions including template check, external gas cell calibration, WDM analysis, and curve fit functions.

It can measure -60dBm to 20dBm at a wavelength of 600nm to 1,000nm, -80dBm to 20dBm at 1,000nm to 1,200nm, and -90dBm to 20dBm at 1,200nm to 1,650nm. It also provides a dynamic range of >70dB and a wavelength linearity of 10.02nm.

The AQ6317C comes with 9.4-inch, 640x480 color LCD, built-in FDD, and thermal printer. It also provides two GP-IB ports, TTL interfaces, 0V to 5V analog output and VGA video output.

The device operates from a 120V/240V source at a temperature range of 50C to 400C.
